Gov’t approves EUR 250 ml worth of health reform intended loan agreement with IBRD

The Government on Wednesday, under a Memorandum, approved the signing of the Loan Agreement between Romania and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) on supporting the reform of the health sector, the Government’s Press Office informs.

The Memorandum provides for the approval of the report on the negotiation of the EUR 250 ml worth of Loan Agreement between Romania and IBRD, with a view to supporting the implementation of the “Project for the health sector reform — improving the quality and efficiency of the health system,” approving also the signing of the negotiated text of the Loan Agreement (the Supplementary Letters included).

Also, the Ministry of Public Finance and the Minister-Delegate for Budget are empowered under the Government memorandum to sign the loan agreement.
