Romania: Private medical network opens imagistics center in Bucharest
Regina Maria private medical network, in collaboration with Affidea Romania (formerly Euromedic Romania), have opened an imagistics center in Floreasca Policlinic in Bucharest.
Regina Maria estimates that this year, the imagistics services within the Floreasca Policlinic will be required by 4,000 patients.
With the opening of the Affidea imagistics center, Floreasca becomes the second Regina Maria medical campus in Bucharest, after the one in Baneasa, and the fifth in the country.
With an investment of EUR 1.5 million, Affidea Romania becomes a partner of the Regina Maria network in the area of latest generation imagistics diagnosis.
“If we look at the infrastructure that Regina Maria is developing in the Floreasca area, we can say that we are offering integrated services across all medical disciplines, focusing on the experience and safety of the patient,” according to Fady Chreih, general manager of the Regina Maria network.
The new imagistics center is equipped with last generation MRI equipment of 1.5 Tesla
Regina Maria runs five imagistics centers in Romania, in Bucharest, Brasov and Bacau.
The partnership with Affidea is the first of this type in this medical area.
Affidea Romania is part of Affidea Group, which runs operations in 14 countries: Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Ireland, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania.
