In order to help Italian citizens in the access to health care while abroad, the Ministry of Health has realized the Brochure entitled ‘International Health Mobility’ (‘Mobilità Sanitaria Internazionale’) and the App “If I leave for….’ (‘Se Parto per….’). The first one, produced in 100 thousand copies, was distributed to all local health authorities of the country and explains how to find information before leaving, what to bring and what EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information) is. It also contains the presentation of this new application, downloadable for free, which is an evolution for mobile phone of the interactive guide already available in the ministerial web site since some years.
