Buyout? Belarus interested in the Bulgarian pharmaceutical companies

The Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) Mr. Stamen Yanev signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus. The memorandum gives an opportunity for attracting Belarusian companies with investment potential in Bulgaria and exchange of information on investment opportunities and privatization in Belarus of Bulgarian companies.Belarus is interested in cooperation with Bulgarian companies in the field of pharmaceuticals and the import of medical equipment from Bulgaria, as well as establishing of joint ventures.

This became clear at a meeting of Deputy Minister of Economy Daniela Vezieva with the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Anton Kudasov.”Our desire is to identify real and concrete steps to enhance trade with Belarus and to find new opportunities for the expansion of investment”, said during the meeting Deputy Minister Vezieva, who is on an official visit in Minsk on the occasion of the Fifth session of the Intergovernmental Bulgarian-Belarusian commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.The expectations of InvestBulgaria Agency are the signed bilateral cooperation agreement, during the session of the Commission, to give additional impetus to the intensification of relations in the economic field.
