Moscow sent 663 healthcare workers to Sochi

A total of 663 healthcare workers from Moscow healthcare organizations were sent to Sochi to work at Olympic facilities, Georgy Golukhov, the head of the Moscow healthcare department, said.

“The Moscow healthcare department  sent 663 healthcare specialists working in the Moscow state healthcare system to the Olympic facilities in Sochi to provide medical assistance to the participants and quests of the 22nd Winter Olympics and the 11th Winter Paralympics,” Golukhov said on Friday.
Of these people, 380 people will provide assistance to the athletes and guests of the Olympics, 271 people will work at the Paralympics, and another 12 people will go to Sochi with airborne medical brigades of the national medical enter Zashchita, he said.

“All Moscow healthcare workers have been accredited to work at the Olympics,” he said.
