Royal Stoke University Hospital are in Croatia trying to recruit around 35 nurses
BOSSES from the Royal Stoke University Hospital are in Croatia trying to recruit around 35 nurses. It is the latest trip to bring overseas “angels” to help staff wards and departments.
It comes after the hospital sent a party to the Philippines in the Spring to attract around 150 nurses. Scores more staff from Portugal, Spain and Italy are now settling in the Potteries after arriving nearly a year ago. The extra nurses are needed both to keep staffing levels high for existing serves and to offer care to patients way behind the hospital’s traditional catchment area.
