A virtual marketplace for young people with rheumatism

Rhuma’Talk is the first French website for young people suffering from disabling chronic rheumatism, which enables them to exchange experiences and advice. The severity of the condition often affects their ability to carry out the simplest of movements and normal daily activities, such as getting up, washing and dressing.

The condition can create feelings of awkwardness and shame between friends and family. That’s why two French associations –Association française de lutte antirhumatismale and Association France Spondyloarthirites – have decided to create a dedicated virtual network to help young people to break the wall of isolation and seek help. They can now do so online with anonymity, to ensure their privacy.
