Romanian dental firm records higher turnover in first six months

Romanian dental clinics network Dent Estet recorded a turnover of EUR 1.75 million in first six months, a year-on-year increase of 35 percent, and a total of 5,000 new patients, reads a statement of the company.

The increase was mainly triggered by the investments carried out at the end of 2012, the opening of the first dental clinic for teenagers in Europe, and the expansion of its service portfolio.

“Nine months after opening Dent Estet 4 Teens, a first on the Romanian market, the clinic counts 1,500 patients and an occupancy rate of 70 percent, which once again confirm that teenagers represent a segment of clients who require tailored services. The results so far allow us to believe that we will exceed the initial targets for the first year of activity, namely a turnover of EUR 700,000 and 2,000 patients,” said Oana Taban, CEO Dent Estet.

For the second half of 2013, the company expects a 20 percent increase in turnover, to EUR 3.4 million. Dent Estet will also expand its service portfolio with a training program for non-medical staff in dental clinics.

Dent Estet was founded 14 years ago by doctor Oana Taban. The group includes five dental clinics, one of which for kids and one for teenagers.
